When Katy and Brian took over The Deil’s Cauldron in October 2002, they enjoyed success right from the outstart. The welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant is savoured by both tourists and locals alike.


Come and enjoy our finest quality food, on offer in a friendly and charming atmosphere of rough stone walls, glowing fires, low ceilings, and subtle lighting, ensuring a wonderful dining experience in this 18th Century Cottage. We specialise in Mediterranean and Scottish Cuisine using fresh local produce and offer a wide ranging menu which includes premium quality "Gold Standard" beef, Wild Scottish Venison, Fresh Mussels and Fish.

For more informal dining sample our Tapas menu served in the bar. We also cater for vegetarians and, weather permiting, can offer alfresco dining in our garden patio.

Our gift vouchers can be purchased by telephone or by email, directly from The Deil's Cauldron. Simply contact either Brian or Katy and purchase a voucher for a specific monetary value. Vouchers are available from £20 upward.
